Love any of the following bands: Pearl Jam, Odd Future, Dirty Projectors, Skrillex, Santigold, Janelle Monáe, and Run-DMC? Then this film is for you.

Director Ron Howard reportedly only had ten days to pull together pre-production on this documentary, but you’d never know it. Nor the fact that, as he claimed in an interview with The Guardian, that he hadn’t heard of 70% of the featured artists before! But perhaps that is why “Made in America” rings with authenticity in its portrayal of its subjects, rather than placing famous musicians on an unreachable pedestal.

“Made in America” is a celebration of music, artistry and the fans who make the music live.
