Mozart is possibly the most iconic classical composer of all time. In his thirty-five years, he composed over six hundred works, many of which are instantly recognizable.  But what do we know of his life?

Much of the general perception of Mozart’s life come from the 1984 Oscar winning drama, “Amadeus”. “In Search of Mozart” shows us the facts behind the popular fiction. Acclaimed documentary filmmaker Phil Grabsky journeys through Europe tracing Mozart’s life. With commentary from a range of historians, conductors, and musicians intimately familiar with his work – and of course, a soundtrack of his finest works – “In Search of Mozart” is the perfect film for music lovers everywhere.
